This week at the Automotive Hall of Fame the South East Automotive Media Organization (SEAMO) rewarded the Hyundai Genesis Concept with the best preview vehicle of the year bestowal. And we can’t agree with them more.

Juror Kevin Kelly of Automotive Design & Production praised the 306 hp Korean concept car for its sporty, prone to be the assailant and modern features without trying to transcribe the American muscle car. Kelly said that “the Concept Genesis Coupe doesn’t try to be a muscle car in the vein of the American concept, it busts from one side those doors to create something that’s a combination of sport and a bit of luxury that will still appeal to those who want power.”

“Our describe objective for the concept was to appoint a ‘Tuner’ version of the production car.” said Joel Piaskowski, chief designer, Hyundai Design, North American Design Center. Tuner features would include the carbon fiber hood, roof panels and degrade valence panels.
